I had the pleasure of working with Leo during my time as Design Director, Marketing for Reader’s Digest. I hired him to design a custom publication, “Viewpoints on Health”. This long running series was very successful for RD. Leo helped make that possible. His talent, professionalism and his knowledge of the pharma market enabled him to design visually inviting editorial that engaged the reader. His photo editing skills are excellent – a key ingredient to the success of this series. He always found the perfect image that brought the right emotion to a cover or page. His abilities as a bilingual designer made the transition so easy when this series expanded into the Selecciones market.I hope I have the good fortune to work with Leo again.
Leopoldo is a top designer with a supeb sense of space, style, and functionality. Leo has the ability to extract “wowness” from any space he designs.
Leo first and foremost is a very talented designer, a team player, imaginative and was delightful to work with. I highly recommend him!
Leo Palis is a brilliant art director! His grasp of the marketing communications strategy, in tandem with the client objectives, is flawless. He knows what it takes to deliver a creative piece that resonates with the target audience. His execution of direct marketing creative particularly, demonstrates that Leo definitely understands how to push the target audience’s hot buttons to increase the “envelope open rate.”His creativity seems to derive from a high sense of style and deep intuition, married to a rational approach that all combine to make his advertising creative delivery at once beautiful, emotionally charged and highly effective.Leo is the type of individual that remains quite unruffled through the multiple revision processes we all know happen in the ad world. Even at 3:00am!It was truly a treat to work with Leo – talent, style and compassion. I highly recommend Leo for any endeavor – he’s quite a designer and a artful decorator as well!
